Poorly made slicer April 6, 2012

Upon first use of this slicer while slicing a moist small turkey breast it stopped working after a few slices. I took it apart and found that the gear that turns the blade was made of plastic and was broken to pieces. Slicer parts should be made of something stronger than plastic. I also paid to have it shipped overnight and then had to pay to have it shipped back. I will not purchase any other products from this company if they do not return my money for the broken slicer.
