It is hard to tell how heavy duty this vacuum sealer is until you see it in person. Everything about it leaves the foodsavers in the dust.

This is more of a machine than a 'kitchen gadget' like other sealers. For those serious BBQ folks who cook up a lot of great food this unit is the way to go. Very impressed!

I give it a 4 star only because I wish it was manufactured in the USA. Had I know it was not I probably would not have purchased it and would have been willing to pay a little more for a product that was made in USA. I've used it only once, but has performed well sealing the 75 lbs of sausage I sealed the other day.

I have just started using my new Weston vacuum sealer for my dehydrated food storage and it is simply wonderful. Well worth the price, very easy to use, and does a fabulous job of removing all the air from the bags. Can't go wrong with this baby. Thanks Weston!!
