Do not reuse Vacuum Bags after storing raw meats, greasy foods or fish. Do not reuse Vacuum Bags after heating. Do not use the Vacuum Bags in the oven or broiler

Perfect for Sous Vide! February 20, 2019

I'd been freezing food in your pint and quart sizes for years with great success. When I invested in an Anova Sous Vide I had success with thawing, then dropping multiple bags in the sous vide bucket to cook. Multiple bags in the water were awkward, so I purchased the gallon size and filled them with with larger amounts of food (ribs done with a spicy rub) before freezing. The large bag worked beautifully. I thawed the bags in the refrigerator overnight and cooked them "sous vide" without incident for 12 hours. I removed the ribs from the bags, dried them with paper towels, basted them with my homemade smoky sauce, and tossed them on a hot grill. Best ribs ever!
